Briefly about Smoking manga:

Although the skinners act as one, they each have their own reasons for compiling a quiver of flayed skins. Some were born into the trade, while one was an orphaned pickpocket who learned the skill from a skilled murderer. The leader and founder of the band is Smoke, who writes stories about his exploits in letters to his sister.
